From its origin in the Middle Eastern Countries, Chai Tea spread to the west and is now enjoyed by thousands as an alternative to regular black tea. It has earnt a reputation amongst modern tea drinkers due to its unique flavour. Its health giving properties are also pronounced and many will enjoy the deep spicy flavour of chai tea to invigorate their day.

High Chai tea can be enjoyed black or with milk, straight from a teapot / plunger or can be brewed in the tradition chai method as below. Honey or sugar may be added if sweetener is desired.

Traditional Chai Tea Brewing Method:

Using a saucepan on a stovetop add:

1. One teaspoon of Tea Lady High Chai tea to ½ a cup of water.
2. Bring to the boil then add ½ a cup of milk or soy milk.
3. When boiling reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
4. Strain and serve.
